1. Eligibility and Class Openings:

  • To meet the diverse needs of parents and children, BHS admits suitably qualified children into the Creche, and all classes in the Nursery and Primary sections.
  • In the Secondary section, admissions are open only to JSS1, JSS2, JSS3, SS1,SS2 and SS3. This policy ensures that the school has the opportunity to prepare students for at least two years before their Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination (JSSCE) and Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE).

2. Collect the Admission Form:

  • To obtain the admission form, you can:
    • visit Blue Horizon Schools to pick up one,
    • contact us to request a soft copy via email

3. Complete and Submit the Form:

  • Fill out the admission form and submit it to the school. If you have requested the soft copy, it must be submitted before your child can take the entrance exam. Ensure all necessary documents (birth certificate, previous school reports, passport photographs of the pupil and his parents/guardian) are attached.

4. Schedule Entrance Examination:

  • Upon submission of the form, you may choose to have your child take the entrance exam on the same day or schedule it for another convenient date.

5. Entrance Examination:

  • Your child will take the entrance exam as scheduled, consisting of English and Mathematics assessments to evaluate their knowledge and readiness for the class they are seeking admission into.

6. Receive Exam Results and Offer:

  • Parents will be notified of the outcome of the exam. Successful candidates will be invited to the school to commence the registration process. This will involve discussing the results and formalizing the admission offer.

7. Acceptance of Offer:

  • If you accept the offer, complete the admission acceptance form and submit it along with any remaining documents. An invoice for the school fees will be provided upon successful acceptance of the offer.
